  • HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU HOST ON A HUNT?
    A full group for a fall hunt is 8. A full group for a spring snow goose hunt is 6. We will sometimes combine parties if there are less than 4 hunters in your group.
  • DO YOU COMBINE PARTIES?
    We combine parties if there are less than 4 hunters booked for that day. A full group for a fall hunt is 8 people. A full group for a spring snow goose hunt is 6.
  • CAN I BRING MY DOG?
    If it is well mannered.
  • WHAT DAYS DO YOU HUNT AND HOW LONG WILL THE HUNT LAST?
    We hunt every day during the seasons. The hunt will last all day.
  • DO YOU RENT GUNS?
    Yes we have guns available for $75 / day.
  • WHERE WILL WE BE HUNTING?
    In between Omaha and Lincoln.
  • WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR AMMUNITION?
    We recommend 3 in 2 shot.
  • WHAT IS PROVIDED FOR GEAR ON THE HUNT?
    We will provide the blinds, decoys and a guide. We also have guns available for rent for $75 / day.
  • WHAT ARE THE BAG AND POSSESSION LIMITS?
    Duck hunters are required to register as a Tier I or Tier II hunter as part of a new regulations optino that started in 2021. Tier I hunters have a 6 bird daily bag limit with species and sex restrictions. Tier II hunters have a 3 bird daily bag limit with no species or sex restrictions. Goose hunters - 5 dark geese No limit on spring snow.
  • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
    If you have to cancel your hunt, you will lose your $100 deposit that we use to reserve your date.
  • DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR LODGING NEARBY?
    Check out Mahoney Ridge Hideaway for a great Airbnb option. www.mahoneyridgehideaway.com The Holiday Inn Express and Super 8 in Gretna, NE are also nearby options.
  • WHAT ABOUT FOOD / DRINKS?
    We have a stove to make breakfast in the pits. Please bring your own food / drinks. Absolutely no alcohol / drugs before or during hunting.
  • WHAT SHOULD I BRING ON THE HUNT?
    - Licenses: Please purchase all Nebraska State and Federal licenses prior to your arrival. www.outdoornebraska.gov - Shotgun - Ammo - Dress for the weather. Nebraska weather is known for its wide shifts in temperature. We recommend a camo outer layer, warm under layers strongly recommended, hunting boots - warm and waterproof recommended, gloves, rain gear, etc. - Camera - Eye protection - Ear protection - Any food / drinks that you will want. We typically take a break for lunch and head into town for a good meal.
